The Fair which was organized from the 22nd to 29th of April in Meknes, Morocco, attracted over 200 exhibitors from all over the world and about 850,000 visitors. The array of Goldentree products displayed made the Cocoa Processing Company Stand the most attractive and heavily visited.
The visitors to the stand were taken through the various processes that the raw cocoa beans get converted to chocolate bars and other confectionery products.This virtual tour of the processes always ended with a tasting of samples of chocolate. Some patrons also had the opportunity of going away from the Ghana stand with souvenir samples of Goldentree chocolate products.
The Company's stand was manned by Nana Agyenim Boateng (MD) and Ekow Rhule (PR Manager). The Company was able to broker a few deals on chocolate supplies to the Moroccan market. It is hoped that these deals will progress into actual business.
